The Basics
What is the Scottsdale Turkey Trot?
A Thanksgiving morning 5K through Scottsdale with Camelback Mountain views, paired with a wellness festival at the finish line. A beautiful, intentionally designed 5K through Scottsdale with Camelback Mountain in view.
When is it?
Thursday, November 26, 2026 (Thanksgiving morning). The race starts at 8:30 AM MST.
Where is it?
5001 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85250. Start and finish at Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort. Beautiful course through Scottsdale with Camelback views.
Do I have to run it?
Nope. Walkers, joggers, racers, families, first-timers, run clubs, PR chasers, and stroller-pushers are all welcome. Everyone crosses the same finish line. There’s a place for you at the starting line.
What happens after the race?
The finish line turns into a festival — music, food, recovery (including sauna + cold plunge), vendors, arts + crafts, and a few thousand people who all made the same good decision that morning.
Registration
How do I register?
Registration is open on Race Roster. Click Register and choose your category.
What registration categories are there?
There are three categories: General, VIP, and Kids (12 & under).
What does VIP include?
VIP includes a separate race check-in spot with an exclusive recovery area, pre-run breakfast bites, coffee, and a gift bag.
How much does it cost?
Pricing increases as race day approaches:
- Best price: through September 30
- Tier 2: October 1 – November 15
- Final tier: November 16 – November 25

Are there added fees?
A registration platform processing fee is added at checkout. Sales tax, if applicable, is calculated at checkout.
Can I buy a registration as a gift?
Yes. Gift registrations are available on the Race Roster event page — perfect for getting the whole family to the start line.
Can I register a group, team, or run club?
Yes — use the “Run Clubs, Fitness Groups & Teams” link on the Race Roster event page to register or join a team.
How do I confirm my registration?
Use the “Confirm registration” link on the Race Roster event page, or check your confirmation email.
Can I transfer or get a refund?
All sales are final. Transfers are allowed until November 7, 2026.
Race Day
Where do I park?
Complimentary parking is available at Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort. It is limited and first come, first served. Arrive with enough time to park and get to the start line. See the Parking page for details.
Is there packet pickup before race day?
Yes — packet pickup before the race will be announced. Details TBA.
Is the race timed?
Yes. Chip-timed with results posted after the race.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes — walkers and strollers are welcome.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs stay home.
What’s the age range for the Kids category?
12 & under.
