Thanksgiving in Arizona
Find your Thanksgiving 5K.
Looking for an Arizona turkey trot in 2026? Here’s what to know about spending the morning in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale Turkey Trot at a glance
The Scottsdale Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning 5K run and walk followed by a wellness festival. It takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, with an 8:30 AM MST start at Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort, 5001 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85250.
The event is organized by Scottsdale Run Club, Phoenix Run Club, Black AZ Run, and Revival Wellness. Our first event in 2025 welcomed 1,230 runners and more than 1,500 attendees. Explore the 2025 photos and results to see the morning for yourself.
Choose a race that fits your group
If your Thanksgiving group includes different paces, check whether everyone can participate together. Scottsdale welcomes walkers, joggers, runners, and strollers. General, VIP, and Kids entries all cover the same chip-timed 5K; the Kids category is for ages 12 and under. Dogs stay home.
Visit the Scottsdale 5K course page for the route overview and the registration guide for entry categories.
Plan for more than the finish line
Scottsdale’s finish-line festival brings together music, recovery, food, vendors, and arts and crafts. Sauna and cold plunge are part of the wellness experience. VIP adds upfront parking, separate check-in, an exclusive recovery area, breakfast bites, coffee, and a gift bag.
Review your selected entry on Race Roster for current pricing and ticket details. Festival activities and individual ticket inclusions are different things, so check the category that suits your plans.
Make race morning easy
The start and finish are at Embassy Suites Scottsdale. Complimentary parking is limited and first come, first served, so allow time to park and reach the start before 8:30 AM MST. Get parking details and directions.
Before registering for any Thanksgiving race, check its date, distance, start time, parking arrangements, entry fees, and stroller or pet rules on the organizer’s official page. For this event, the Scottsdale Turkey Trot FAQ covers those questions and packet pickup updates.
